Hello! I grew up in London and love my hometown. I knew from a young age that I wanted a career helping people. I graduated from Ohio State Schools of Cosmetology in 2003. I have spent the last 20 years building my skills by keeping up on trends and techniques as well as learning the business side of my industry. I love being able to take something I learn and use it to create a beautiful color or hairstyle. I specialize in naturally blended color as well as helping you find the hairstyle to fit your lifestyle. I look forward to helping you feel and look your best.

Hello! I've called London my home for over 20 years. I received my hair design license from North West Career Center in 1991 and went on to Chicago to Pivot Point for advanced hair design training. After finishing my time in Chicago I spent time as an assistant at Kenneth's Hair Design and then 20 years as a hairstylist at Ostens Salon.
I have a wonderful husband, three children and a cute high maintenance fur baby. I love meeting new people, enjoy cooking and spending quality time with as well as entertaining family and friends!

Hello! My name is Jamy (Mayhorn) Crace. I am married and have two beautiful girls! I've grown up in London and graduated from London High School. Shortly after graduation I attended Nationwide Beauty Academy and graduated in 2016. Going through this program is by far the best decision I made for my future! Hair is a passion for me, not just a job. I love that I found something that fits my life perfectly. I specialize in blonde transformation, but love my brunettes and reds too! No matter your hair needs, my ultimate goal is for you to leave feeling confident and beautiful. I can't wait to use my knowledge and skill to make your hair dreams come true! When I am not at the Studio, I am living my best Mom and Wife life, knowing it never takes too long for our littles to grow up.

I graduated Carousel Beauty college in 1997. In addition to cosmetology school I had advanced training at The Charles Penzone Grand Salon. Hello, my name is Emma! I grew up in Hilliard and moved here about 3 years ago. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with London! My passion for hair design started around 4th grade when I got my first mannequin head. My junior year of high school I grabbed hold of the opportunity to pursue my passion and enroll in Cosmetology at Tolles Career and Technical Centers where I received my license. I started working at the Studio in 2021 as an intern and have continued learning and growing! In my free time, you'll find me relaxing with my family and fur buddies out by the lake. LEAH MAYNARD
Hair Stylist
I am originally from London and graduated LHS in 1998. I began my career by attending Nationwide Beauty Academy and trained at Kenneth's in Columbus, Ohio where I learned many techniques including French hair cutting. After graduating in 1999, I knew I wanted to work in my hometown where I could build stronger relationships with people in my community. I specialize in simplistic styling and coloring that can be achieved through highlighting and gray coverage. If you see me outside of the Studio it will most likely be court side coaching and cheering for my two beautiful daughters, Trinity is in college and Kinsi is in middle school. I love that my girls share the same excitement for volleyball that I have always had. Helping my girls grow in to themselves has been challenging but rewarding at the same time! You could say that my career as a hairstylist is unsurprising to most people. Growing up I was the friend at sleepovers that would bust out the paint or end up coloring someone's hair. After gaining a technical education and experience as well as years working in the community, I have found my hair painting home at The Exception Hair Studio! When you are a guest in my chair we'll work on a custom design fit for your lifestyle and expression. The best part, my favorite part, is the excitement and transformation. I love providing that within a service. I work on teaching it as well, so my little one can understand that kind of fulfillment in a career. My family and I certainly love to play, appreciate nature and enjoy music. This is why I connect with the creative fun of hair design.

Hello! I am newly married and have a little boy named David! I grew up in London and my grandmother, Nina, actually used to work at this very salon. As a child, I would often come to work with her on weekends and loved to watch her work her magic! I attended Salon Institute in Powell, OH and have been doing hair locally since 2020. I absolutely love to create balayage and lived-in color but I don't limit myself to just those services. I enjoy creating trendy looks to fit each person who sits in my chair.
